About us

The WOOD DECOR project was created in a family manufactory near Krakow, in a small and picturesque town of Chrostowa.

It was here, under the watchful eye of his father from an early age, the owner of the WOOD DECOR brand, Bolesław Palczewski and his two younger brothers learned how to create various objects from wood.

The talent and passion for creating beautiful and timeless things, passed down from generation to generation, resulted in the designs of the first wooden wall panels, and with time also utility items.

M I N I M A L I Z M

We focus on minimalist design because we believe that simplicity is elegant and timeless. We carefully select wood and suppliers, taking care of the quality of raw materials and trying to minimize the carbon footprint during the production process. We remember that we draw from nature.

C Z E R P I E M Y Z N A T U R Y

We do not use chemical agents for wood preservation and care. We finish each product by hand using oils that do not produce poisonous volatile substances, and the effect of our craftsmanship is packed and secured in packaging made of ecological raw materials.

We do not cut out plywood, we do not stick veneer. You get unique panels made of carefully selected pieces of oak, walnut, zebrano or merbau. Irregular graining, knots, various colors - this is the charm and beauty of wood that we want to share with you. It is important to us that you receive the highest quality product, therefore we hand-finish and pack every element that is made in our manufacture.
